Hypnosis And NLP Books That I Am Reading
In addition to learning more about blogging, I’ve got a few books that I’m studying at this time. They are:
Training Trances by John Overdurf and Julie Silverthorn
Hypnotic Language Its Structure and Use by John Burton, EdD and Bob G. Bodenhamer, DMin
Persuasion Skills Black Book by Rintu Basu

I strongly recommend any books by Michael Yapko. Others great books are suggested on my blog Hypnosis Seven
As an aside let me say that I find NLP to be manipulative and distasteful.
Hi. I do like the two Yapko books that I have on my shelf.Although, I did feel that the smaller Essentials book to be almost a digest version of the more comprehensive Trancework.
Regarding your comment about NLP, your feelings about NLP are similar to my feelings about salesmanship. I have a certain reaction if I know someone is trying to sell something because it's merchandise that needs to move, or because the driving force is more about their commission rather than the customer's needs. But I think that's more of a reflection of the operator's skills or even their personal philosophy or personality.
I believe there is a lot of real value in using principles of NLP for communication and modeling and understanding how people store and access information.
